New, comments

Eagles cornerback Brandon Boykin has suffered a hamstring injury.

Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Brandon Boykin suffered a hamstring injury during the team's game against the San Francisco 49ers. Boykin is questionable to return.

The injury occurred on a special teams play. Boykin, lined up as a gunner on the outside of the field, was pushed by a 49ers player on punt coverage. Boykin went down and grabbed his leg. Boykin would eventually get off the field and limp to the sideline.

With Boykin out, Nolan Carroll II takes over as Philadelphia's nickel cornerback.

Stay tuned for updates.

UPDATE - 6:22 PM EST: Boykin has returned to the game.
