Starting inside linebacker Mychal Kendricks is inactive after originally being ruled out on Friday. The loss of Kendricks is significant for Philadelphia's struggling defense. Filling in for Kendricks will likely be the trio of Emmanuel Acho, first round draft pick Marcus Smith II, and Casey Matthews.
Starting center Jason Kelce is also inactive. Kelce, who suffered a sports hernia injury in Week 3, is targeting to return in Week 10. Backup David Molk will start at center in place of Kelce. Veteran offensive lineman Wade Smith will serve as Molk's backup.
Speaking of the offensive line, Matt Tobin is active for the first time all season after missing the first three games while recovering from a high ankle injury. Tobin will start at left guard in place of Dennis Kelly, who will start at right guard. Kelly's move to right guard is made possible by veteran starter Todd Herremans kicking out to right tackle in order to replace Andrew Gardner.
Rookie wide receiver Josh Huff is inactive yet again despite being listed as a full participant in practice all week on the injury report. Huff was ruled questionable heading into this game. Running back Chris Polk will likely return kicks for Philadelphia.
