Jason Kelce Injury: Eagles center ruled out with abdomen injury

New, comments

Not good news for Philadelphia.

Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

Philadelphia Eagles starting center Jason Kelce has left the team's NFL Week 3 game against the Washington Redskins early. Kelce will not return to the game. It is being reported that Kelce has suffered an abdomen injury.

This is obviously not good news for Philadelphia. Kelce is a talented young player. The Eagles are already missing a number of starters on the offensive line. Starting left guard Evan Mathis is on injured reserve (designated to return) with an MCL injury. Full-time right tackle starter Lane Johnson is still serving a four-game suspension. Fill-in right tackle starter Allen Barbre suffered a season-ending high ankle injury in Week 1.

Backup center David Molk is filling in for Kelce for the rest of the game.
