The Philadelphia Eagles have announced their game day inactive list in preparation for their NFL Week 3 game against the Washington Redskins.
Starting inside linebacker Mychal Kendricks was ruled out on Friday. The loss of Kendricks is significant for Philadelphia. Filling in for Kendricks will likely be Emmanuel Acho.
Second-year safety Earl Wolff is out. Wolff was listed as questionable heading into this game due to a knee injury. With Wolff out, the Eagles only have three active safeties: Malcolm Jenkins, Nate Allen, and Chris Maragos. Rookie defensive back Jaylen Watkins, who is active for the first time in his career, will likely serve as the fourth safety.
Rookie first round pick linebacker Marcus Smith II is active after spending Week 2 as a healthy scratch on game day. Smith II has spent the week practicing at inside linebacker, where the team is currently thin.
Rookie wide receiver Josh Huff was ruled doubtful heading into this game. Huff is targeting a return against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4.
