Eagles Injury Report: Emmanuel Acho favored to start in place of Mychal Kendricks

Eagles injury update for Thursday, September 18th, 2014.

John Geliebter-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles have released their Thursday injury report in preparation of their Week 3 game against the Washington Redskins. There are a few changes from the team's Wednesday injury report.

Starting inside linebacker Mychal Kendricks sat out once again. According to one report, Kendricks will definitely not play against Washington. Another report has stated that Kendricks might not even play in Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers. Kendricks didn't offer a timetable for his return after practice on Thursday.

With Kendricks likely out, it appears Emmanuel Acho is the favorite to start in his place. Acho split repetitions with Casey Matthews in practice.

Starting defensive end Fletcher Cox (back) was limited in practice on Thursday after being a full participant on Wednesday. Starting cornerback Cary Williams (hamstring) was limited in practice for the second straight day.

Backup safety Earl Wolff, like Cox, was a full participant in practice on Wednesday but was downgraded to limited on Thursday.

Rookie wide receiver Josh Huff was limited in practice yet again. Huff said he expects to be a full participant in practice as soon as next week.

Backup offensive lineman Matt Tobin (ankle) returned to practice on Wednesday and was a full participant once again on Thursday.
