According to Reuben Frank of CSN Philly, the Philadelphia Eagles have signed quarterback G.J. Kinne to a practice squad contract. The Eagles' practice squad now stands full at the 10-man limit.
I'm hearing now that the Eagles will use their final practice squad spot for QB G.J. Kinne.

Kinne originally signed with the Eagles during the 2013 offseason. He served as the team's fifth string quarterback before being released during final cuts. Kinne would later be signed to Philadelphia's practice squad in late October and remain there for the rest of the season. The Eagles signed Kinne to a reserve/futures contract in the 2014 offseason and he served as the team's fourth string quarterback this time around. It looked like he was pushing second-year passer Matt Barkley for the third-string job at one point but the competition never really materialized and Kinne was released yet again in final cuts.
I believe Kinne, who has gone to a Pro Bowl, to be the ultimate practice squad player. He's willing to line up anywhere and he gives the Eagles an extra arm during practice. It makes too much sense not to happen.
As I said earlier, the Eagles 10-man practice squad is now complete. It seems to contain a nice balance between players who are useful in practice with players that possess developmental upside.
