Ranking NFL teams by age: Rams youngest, Raiders oldest - Philly.com
The Raiders and Giants are the two oldest teams. By the time you read this, this data will already out of date as teams continue to make tweaks to their rosters. although even with continued roster movement, the average ages of each team shouldn’t change much.

More on the Roster Moves - Iggles Blitz
Is Cody Parkey the answer at PK? There were some veteran PKs cut in the last couple of days. The Eagles didn’t sign any of them to this point and I don’t expect them to. Parkey is a young guy with a strong leg. He showed on Thursday night that he can make long FGs in game situations and do well on kickoffs. Howie Roseman said today the Eagles followed Parkey while in college so this isn’t some random signing. This is a player they liked and STs coach Dave Fipp wanted to work with. My guess is that the Eagles stick with Parkey and see if they can develop him into a long term solution.

Roseman: Criticizing Chip For Oregon Bias Is Unfair - Birds 24/7
"He lets us make our own evaluations and talk to him about it, and then he gives us his opinions," Roseman said. "He doesn’t do anything different than he does for any player from any other school. It’s really not fair that he gets hit on some of this stuff when the guys that we’re keeping, we’re keeping because they’re good players and they can contribute to our football team. That’s for all of us." "He wants the best players. He wants to win games. He’s very selfish in that regard. I don’t think it’s fair that he gets accused of anything other than that. To me, the question is: Does Coach want anything other than to win football games and to have the best players on the team? I think there’s no question to anyone that’s around him that that’s his sole function and his sole desire."

Position-by-position analysis of the Eagles' 53-man roster - Inquirer
Wide receivers (6): Riley Cooper, Josh Huff, Jeremy Maclin, Jeff Maehl, Jordan Matthews, Brad Smith. Maehl snagged one of the last spots. He was playing on an injured ankle and likely knew he was on the bubble. He beat out Arrelious Benn, who will be waived as soon as he comes off short-term Injured Reserve, Ifeanyi Momah and Johnson. Maehl’s special teams contributions, Roseman said, played a large part in his sticking for another season. The fact that he played for Kelly, the GM said, did not.

10 observations analyzing the Eagles' roster - CSN Philly
The Eagles are deeper across the board, no question. Last year, the first corner off the bench was Roc Carmichael. He’s not even on the team. Nolan Carroll is now the fourth corner, first off the bench on the outside, and will see some action in the dime. Last year, the Eagles went into the year with an injured Dennis Kelly and rookie free agent Matt Tobin as backup tackles along with Allen Barbre. Kelly is healthy and Tobin really improved in the offseason. He’s a future starter. They also kept Andrew Gardner, who looked good in camp. Last year’s backup defensive line featured Clifton Geathers and Damion Square. Brandon Bair is much more athletic than Geathers and rookie Beau Allen showed he can provide some pass rush at the backup nose spot over Square. Even at wide receiver, the Eagles’ fourth wideout now is Brad Smith. Last year, Jeff Maehl. Only area of concern is inside linebacker, where Casey Matthews is the fourth right now. But that’s the same as last year, so no worse.

53-Man Roster Looks So Very Good - PE.com
It's a young group, with 18 first- and second-year players (including suspended offensive tackle Lane Johnson). Only 10 players are 30 years and older. There is depth and talent all over.

The Broncos released Duke Ihenacho, the Saints scrapped both kickers on their roster and more notable names didn't make it through Saturday's roster cuts unscathed.
