Jeremy Maclin Injury: Eagles wide receiver goes down grabbing knee, returns to game shortly after

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin gave everyone a scare on Thursday night during second quarter of the team's preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Maclin went down uncontacted on an offensive play and laid on the ground grabbing his knee. It did not look good. Shortly after, however, Maclin got up and walked off the field on his own power. Maclin would return to the game not too long after and make a catch.

It appears a crisis has been averted for now.
