Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy has left the team's preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a thumb injury. McCoy is reportedly getting an X-ray on his right thumb. It's unknown if he will return.
Eagles backup running back Matthew Tucker is filling in for McCoy during his absence.
Update: McCoy has returned to the sideline and had his hand taped.
Update 2: The Eagles announce McCoy's X-ray is negative, which is good news. McCoy has been ruled out for the remainder of the game, however.
Stay tuned for updates.
