Philadelphia Eagles have a day off from training camp practice (August 2nd, 2014)

The Philadelphia Eagles get to enjoy their second day off today, Saturday, August 2nd, 2014, since the entire team reported for the team's training camp last week on Friday, July 25th.

As I noted on Friday night, this will be a good chance for a number of Eagles players suffering from minor injuries to rest up and ideally return to practice soon.

This is also the last break the Eagles have until a week from now on August 9th. The team will hold a training camp practice every day this upcoming week leading up to Philadelphia's first preseason game on Friday, August 8th away at the Chicago Bears.

The Eagles return to practice on Sunday, August 3rd. Sunday also marks the team's second and final public practice at Lincoln Financial Field. Practice starts at 12:15 PM EST, parking opens at 9 AM, HeadHouse Plaza opens at 10 AM, and the Interior Gates open at 11 AM. No tickets are required. More information here.
