Philadelphia Eagles complete the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge (VIDEO)

Awesome.

The Philadelphia Eagles have taken the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to the next level. Instead of just individually dumping buckets of ice water on their heads, the entire Eagles roster, plus coaches (including head coach Chip Kelly), and even front office executives (general manager Howie Roseman and team president Don Smolenski) gathered together in a giant pool and had ice water dumped on them using heavy duty machines. Awesome.

So why are they doing it? The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is designed to raise both money and awareness to help fight the disease. A number of public figures, including many NFL players, coaches, and front officer members. have already participated in this challenge. Per their website, The ALS Association and its 38 chapters have received an astonishing $22.9 million in donations compared to $1.9 million during the same time period last year (as of August 19th).
