According to Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer, there is some news regarding the Philadelphia Eagles jersey and, no, it doesn't involve Kelly Green.
The Eagles will be wearing their black alternate jerseys against the New England Patriots on Friday night. The team will also continue using their black alternate jerseys as a replacement for the standard midnight green home uniform heading into the early part of the 2014 NFL season. Berman has more on the reason why this temporary change is taking place:
Eagles will wear black jerseys tonight and early part of the season. Midnight green won't be available until later in the season

Reason is because uniforms are being upgraded to Nike Elite 51, and midnight green is a custom color that apparently needs time to make

So Eagles will have white jerseys and black jerseys for "early portion" of the schedule. ...That concludes my fashion news updates

The Eagles' black jerseys tend to be polarizing. Some fans think they're great, others really don't like them at all. But whether you like them or not, now you know. It's something to keep in mind when planning out your game day attire.
