The Philadelphia Eagles get to enjoy their first day off today, Tuesday, July 29th, 2014, since the entire team reported for the team's training camp last week on Friday, July 25th.
The time off will be a nice chance for players to rest after three consecutive days of fast-paced practice. Perhaps this break will also cool down tensions that have caused two training camp fights already. Sunday's match up featured LeSean McCoy versus Trent Cole while Jeremy Maclin and Bradley Fletcher were the ones swinging punches on Monday.
At the least, the rest could do good for the four players that weren't full participants during the Eagles' most recent practice. Those players include nose tackle Bennie Logan (hamstring), wide receiver Riley Cooper, running back Chris Polk, and center Julian Vandervelde.
The Eagles return to practice on Wednesday, July 30th.
