Philadelphia Eagles training camp 2014 schedule begins in one week!

SEVEN MORE DAYS.

Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles officially report for their 2014 Training Camp one week from today on July 25th, 2014.

Doesn't that sound awesome? The dreaded doldrums of the NFL dead zone are almost over. Seven days will have passed before you know it. Eagles football is almost here!

Bleeding Green Nation will be at Eagles training camp

That's right - due to your awesome support and loyalty to BGN (along with the excellent Eagles PR department) I'm able to cover Eagles training camp in person for the second straight year. I tweet out live updates from practice on Twitter @BrandonGowton. I also post daily live blog and practice notes along with quotes from coaches/players and other various training camp updates. I'll be attending every single one of the Eagles practices. I might even travel to New England to watch the Eagles-Patriots joint-practices but that's not a certainty yet. In any case, definitely stay tuned here to BGN for all of your training camp coverage needs. Thanks again for your support.

Eagles 2014 training camp schedule

Unlike past years where a three-day rookie minicamp was held, all Eagles players and coaching staff will report on July 25th. There won't be an actual practice on the 25th. There will only be interview opportunities from players reporting to the team's facility at the NovaCare Complex. From there, here's how the Eagles training camp schedule shapes up. Open practices

All three public practices take place in Philadelphia (remember, no more Lehigh) and begin at 12:15 PM EST. For practices at Lincoln Financial Field, parking opens at 9 AM, HeadHouse Plaza opens at 10 AM, and the Interior Gates open at 11 AM.

Monday, July 28th (Lincoln Financial Field) - Military Appreciation
Sunday, August 3rd (Lincoln Financial Field)
Sunday, August 10 (Franklin Field) - Eagles alumni will be honored

Tickets are NOT required for the two practices at LFF. Tickets ARE required for the practice at Franklin Field and can be ordered here. More info about the Eagles open practices, including special events, can be found here.

Eagles-Patriots Joint Practices

From August 12th to August 14th the Eagles will be in New England to practice with the New England Patriots. The Eagles and Patriots did this last year and it was a pretty successful event. Both teams practiced seemed to practice at a high level given the added competition.
