NFL Supplemental Draft 2014 results: No players picked

Uneventful and expected.

Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

The 2014 NFL Supplemental Draft has come and gone and no players have been selected. Boy, wasn't that exciting?

The four eligible draft prospects (WR Chase Clayton, DT Lakendrick Ross, LB Darius Lipford, and RB Traylon Shead) are now considered undrafted rookie free agents and are available to sign with any team. BGN profiled all four of these players earlier on Wednesday.

Earlier in the week it was reported that the Eagles showed interest in massive 6-4, 366 pound defensive lineman Lakendrick Ross. Perhaps the Eagles could have interest in signing Ross now that it wouldn't require spending a draft pick, but that remains to be seen. It's worth noting that the Eagles roster currently stands full at 90 players. Any roster additions would require the Eagles to make space with a corresponding subtraction.

The most important part of all of this, of course, is that BGN's 2014 NFL Supplemental Mock Draft was 100% ACCURATE. I correctly predicted that no players would be selected and that's just what happened. It was a rousing success. Thanks again to all those that helped with the mock. Couldn't have done it without you.

Now that the NFL Supplemental Draft is out of the way there's really nothing else scheduled to take place before training camp starts in two weeks.

Trust me, it can't get here soon enough.
