Well, it's over.
After a 2-1 loss to Belgium in extra time, the United States Men's National Soccer Team has been eliminated from the 2014 World Cup. It was excruciatingly painful at times but overall an entertaining game. The USA played their hearts out but just couldn't capitalize on enough chances. Goal keeper Tim Howard was especially awesome and it's sad to see his efforts in vain.
It was an admirable way to go out. It's hard not to be proud of how that team gave it their all. We close out our unofficial BGN World Cup coverage with some Eagles tweets.
Thank you, @ussoccer. What a run. #OneNationOneTeam always.

If that was Tim Howard's last WC he went out like a boss. Still proud of this squad. Looking forward to tracking their careers till next WC.
