Here we go! Halfway through!

Welcome to the second part of Bleeding Green Nation's 2014 NFL Draft live blog. This feature will host constant updates regarding draft rumors, trade updates, hot takes and more, while also serving as an open thread for discussion. The Eagles are set to pick at No. 22, but will they stay put? Stay tuned to BGN for the latest regarding Eagles moves and others made around the league. Click here for Part 1 of the live blog.

[9:41 p.m. EST] The Rams have selected Pittsburgh defensive tackle Aaron Donald. He is a nasty three-technique and that defensive line just got a lot scarier. Jeff Fisher and Gregg Williams are going to have some fun!

[9:45 p.m. EST] The Bears have added one of the Eagles targets. Virginia Tech's Kyle Fuller is a giant cornerback with tons of talent. Chicago had an awful secondary last season, so this will surely helped.

[9:46 p.m. EST] The Steelers have taken speedy linebacker Ryan Shazier with the 15th overall pick. He will likely take on one of the inside linebacker positions for Pittsburgh. Cowboys are on the clock!

[9:54 p.m. EST] The Cowboys have added an offensive lineman for the second straight year in the first round. Jerry Jones really didn't look happy but Zack Martin is a very, very good player. It was a smart move, by I am guessing Stephen Jones.

[10 p.m. EST] The Ravens just replaced Ray Lewis one year later with Alabama inside linebacker C.J. Mosley. Awesome pick for them.

[10:09 p.m. EST] It wasn't Ha Ha but it was a haha moment. The Jets reached and took Calvin Pryor with the 18th overall pick. That'll be interesting. Brandin Cooks still on the board!!!!! So...is...Manziel...

[10:18 p.m. EST] Love Ja'Wuan James but the Dolphins reached for him at No. 19. Oh well, they want to improve their offensive line.

[10:20 p.m. EST] The Saints have traded up from No. 27 to No. 20 with the Cardinals. The Cardinals received a third round pick for the spot. New Orleans has selected Oregon State's Brandin Cooks. This is a crushing blow to the Eagles, who nearly got their guy, who according to everyone I have talked to, loved him. :(

[10:33 p.m. EST] The Packers have selected Ha Ha Clinton-Dix with the No. 21 pick in the draft. He was one away from the Eagles but it looks like it's Lee or Manziel now. Whoa.

[10:40 p.m. EST] Better them than us... The Eagles have traded back to No. 26 from No. 22 so that the Browns could select Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel. "Boom or bust" is the named of Johnny Football's game. The Eagles got a third round pick in the deal. This couldn't have gone any better.

[10:51 p.m. EST] Mark is pretty funny:

[10:52 p.m. EST] Wow! Andy Reid passed on Marqise Lee and selected Auburn pass rusher Dee Ford. Is Tamba Hali on the block? Or do they not want to pay Houston? This is a really interesting move. Ford can't play against the run at all but he is quick and can get past blockers.

[10:56 p.m. EST] The Bengals as no surprise have drafted Michigan State cornerback Darqueze Dennard. It's a very solid pick that fits their team. He's a press corner for days and really is going to the best fit for him.

[11:00 p.m. EST] Tommy weighing in:

[11:02 p.m. EST] The Chargers have taken my favorite player in the entire draft, Jason Verrett, with the 25th overall pick. Great move! Size is the only thing he lacks. Eagles are on the clock!

[11:07 p.m EST] The pick is in and it's...outside linebacker Marcus Smith of Louisville. This is a bit of a reach but he is extremely athletic and long. He had a monster year last season and the Eagles obviously wanted a 3-4 outside linebacker. I will have more on this moving forward but I am okay with this pick because they also acquired a third round pick. Smith will likely be a rotational pass rusher as a rookie but WOW that's nuts.
