The Philadelphia Eagles have signed second round draft pick wide receiver Jordan Matthews to a four year deal. Matthews is the sixth of seven Eagles 2014 draft picks to sign their rookie contract. Here's proof:

Matthews and the Eagles agreed to terms so quickly because now that contracts are slotted, there isn't much negotiation room. Per OverTheCap, as the 42nd pick, Matthews's contract is expected to total around $5.0 million.
This deal ensures that Matthews will definitely be ready in time for Eagles training camp, which begins in late July. The Eagles have until then to get the rest of their remaining draft picks under contract in order for them to be eligible for practice.
Six picks down, one more pick to go! The only one left unsigned is Eagles first round pick OLB Marcus Smith.
