To the entire Bleeding Green Nation universe:
I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that BGN is not going be able to have a live draft party like we hoped to do.
The good news is that Philly Phaithful will be hosting a 2014 NFL Draft Recap Party and you're invited! It all takes place on Monday May 12th starting at 6:30 PM.
The event will feature appearances from myself (manager of Bleeding Green Nation) and Jimmy Kempski (former BGN editor and current Philly.com Eagles writer)! Other members of the BGN staff may be attending as well.
Philly Phaithful is a Northern Liberties-based business that specializes in originally designed Philadelphia sports apparel. Check out their website for more information. Here's a flyer for the event itself. Don't forget to RSVP!
All the information you need to is listed above, but here's a more detailed write-up:
The calendar flips to may and the focus turns to Radio City Music Hall. This can only mean one thing to football fans: Mel Kiper’s ridiculous hair is back The NFL Draft is here!
Join your fellow Birds fans on Monday, May 12th at the Philly Phaithful Showroom as we recap every selection, trade and decision from the NFL Draft with Eagles writer Jimmy Kempski of Philly.com and Bleeding Green Nation's Editor-in-Chief Brandon Gowton. Get insider information from the guys in the know, and discuss the picks you loved, the moves you questioned and the future of Philadelphia Eagles football.
Complimentary beverages--read, beer--will be available and you can enjoy major discounts on our entire line of original football apparel. Entry is FREE but RSVP's are required as space is limited. We'll also show highlights on our 16-FT HD projection screen, which is only slightly larger than Chip Kelly's ego.
The event starts at 6:30pm and runs through 8:30. Our Showroom is located on 4th and Brown in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia. Any questions? Drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org or 1-888-4PHAITH.
Don't forget to follow @PhillyPhaithful on Twitter and like their Facebook page.
I hope to see you there!
