Philadelphia Eagles Post-Draft 2014 Approval Poll: Chip Kelly

Do you approve of the job Chip Kelly is doing as the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles? Vote now.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Now that Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has had his turn in the monthly BGN approval ratings, head coach Chip Kelly is up.

Kelly, in conjunction with Roseman, was no doubt a big part of an Eagles' draft weekend that welcomed seven new players into the fold, as well as fifteen undrafted free agents. While the majority of the Eagles' draft favored the defensive side of the ball, Kelly did get two new wide receivers for his offense. Jordan Matthews (No. 42) and Josh Huff (No. 86) really seem to fit what the Eagles want out of their receivers. Not only are they pass-catching threats but they are also physical blockers.

On paper, the Eagles offense looks very exciting. With Jeremy Maclin and Riley Cooper on the outside, the Eagles will feature Jordan Matthews (likely) starting in the slot on the inside, along with Josh Huff being mixed in. Then there's Brent Celek as the in-line tight end and Zach Ertz lining up in the slot. Keep in mind all of this could be happening with both LeSean McCoy and Darren Sproles lining up next to Nick Foles in the backfield. Sounds like fun.

Kelly's second draft class is just another gradual effort to shape the Eagles' roster into his ideal mold. And so far it's looking pretty great.
