The Philadelphia Eagles have invited a total of seven tryout players to the team's rookie minicamp which begins tomorrow on Friday, May 16th.
#Eagles to have 7 tryout players at Rookie Camp: LB Caponegro, TE Childers, LB Donohue, LB Larry, C MacPherson, DB Morgan and T Steinkuhler
— Philadelphia Eagles (@Eagles) May 15, 2014
Once again, these players are not officially under contract. They have only been invited to rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. The Eagles' roster is currently filled at the maximum occupancy of 90. If the Eagles wanted to sign one of these players, they would have to free up a roster spot first. More likely than not the Eagles are just looking for extra bodies to fill practice repetitions.
