Eagles, Josh Huff Agree to 4 Year Deal

Chip Kelly even likes his players to sign as fast as possible.

USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed 3rd round pick wide receiver Josh Huff to a four year deal. Huff is the first of seven Eagles 2014 draft picks to sign a contract.

Huff and the Eagles agreed to terms so quickly because now that contracts are slotted, there isn't much negotiation room. Per OverTheCap, as the 86th pick, Huff's contract is expected to total $2.8M.

This deal ensures that Huff will definitely be ready in time for Eagles training camp, which begins in late July. The Eagles have until then to get the rest of their six draft picks under contract in order for them to be eligible for practice.

One down, six to go.
