2015 NFL Mock Draft: Eagles take Josh Shaw

Because it's never too early to look ahead to next year.

Robert Hanashiro-USA TODAY Sport

The 2014 NFL Draft is over, so there's only one thing to do: take an insanely early look ahead to next year's draft class. Oh yes, it's a 2015 NFL Mock Draft. And you thought you didn't have to see another one for a long time!

I personally love the idea of a 2015 mock at this time of the year because it's hilarious. It's just like the power rankings that get released seconds after the Super Bowl ends (yes, those actually take place).

Anyway, this mock comes to us from the good folks over at SB Nation's Mocking the Draft platform. (Kudos to them for the awesome draft coverage, by the way.) The draft order is based on the latest Super Bowl odds. The Eagles are picking at 27. MTD has them taking Josh Shaw, cornerback, USC. Even though this is a way too early look... the pick doesn't even seem unreasonable at this point. Kelly loves his PAC-12 players and the Eagles will probably be in the market for a new cornerback. Cary Williams (cap casualty?) and Bradley Fletcher (free agent) could both be gone after 2014.

So there you have it. A 2015 NFL mock draft.

(I'm so sorry.)
