Dear Mom,
I want to start off by apologizing to you. It's been a very, very busy weekend for me. I've been working non-stop writing about the 2014 NFL Draft on the site I write for. (Yes, this one.) I haven't been able to spend the time with you that I wanted to. For that, I am very sorry. I promise we will spend some time together very soon.
But today is Mother's Day and I wanted to do something special for you. I just didn't know what. I didn't know how to show you how much I truly love and appreciate everything that you do and have ever done for me. So I wanted to start by posting this letter to you here on BGN so that not only you would realize how much I love you, but so the thousands (and more) of people who read this site know as well.
I know you know that I am a private person who often likes to keep to himself. But one thing I am definitely not afraid to share with people is how much I love you. So I want you, and everyone else, to know this:
You are the best, Mom. You are beautiful. You have always been there for me and have always supported me my whole life. I could never have achieved the goals I wanted to achieve -- and still want to achieve -- without your guidance. You are the hardest worker I have even known in my life. Your hard work and dedication inspires me to match your truly amazing efforts. You have truly been the best mother a son could ever ask for and I hope you always remember that. I will always love you.
I love you, Mom!
