The Philadelphia Eagles' second fifth round selection in the 2014 NFL Draft was another defensive back. This time it was former Stanford safety Ed Reynolds. He is a tall and athletic safety with long arms, who will compete for a backup spot. He will also be expected to be a prime special teams contributor.
Reynolds is a quality prospect for the fifth round and will likely make the team. He is probably going to compete with Keelan Johnson for the fifth safety spot behind Malcolm Jenkins, Nate Allen, Earl Wolff and Chris Maragos.
