With the second day of the 2014 NFL Draft in the books and the Philadelphia Eagles have now added a total of three new players to the roster. The Eagles' day two picks were both wide receivers: Jordan Matthews of Vanderbilt and Josh Huff of Oregon.
Now that we've barely had much time to digest the picks it's definitely time for everyone's favorite pointless activity: draft grades! See below for hot takes and grades from around the web.

Grade: C+
Matthews doesn't get a lot of separation and won't blow you away often with his athleticism. But he's as steady of a receiver as there is in this draft and will outwork everyone. Huff is a good player, but he may not get a lot of opportunities behind Matthews, Riley Cooper and Jeremy Maclin. The Eagles still need a corner who can play on the outside.
Grades: 2014 NFL Draft Round 2
Grades: 2014 NFL Draft Round 3
Grade: B-
I think there were better options, but Matthews is a good player. He doesn't play as fast as his time, but he will catch a lot of balls in that offense. Trading up with other receivers on the board is a bit of a mystery.Grade: B+
Kelly takes a receiver I think is way underrated. He knows this player and Huff is a good player who will play right away.

"Good job, good effort"
The skinny: The Eagles land a much-needed wide receiver in Matthews who will do well in Chip Kelly's system. He won't have the big plays Desean Jackson did, but he'll be Nick Foles' friend. Huff will be great on special teams and should be able to jump right in on offense as a former Kelly player at Oregon.

The Eagles get their DeSean Jackson replacement by selecting the 29th-ranked player on our board and all-time SEC receptions leader. He must be delighted too; is there a better team to be drafted to as a wide-out? (Grade: A+)
Chip Kelly’s first reach as a member of the Eagles. Huff was more of a Day 3 pick. And with other more talented options available here, Philadelphia just didn’t get the necessarily value it needed after reaching in the first. (Grade: C)
