The NFL has announced their tentative 2014 preseason schedule. Exact dates aren't listed, but it does include which teams will be playing and the week it will take place.

Here's the entire Eagles 2014 preseason slate.

Week 1 - @ Chicago Bears

Week 2 -@ New England Patriots

Week 3 - vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Week 4 - vs. New York Jets

Starting off with the Bears, huh? That's different.

At the Patriots was expected. I'm guessing this means those Eagles-Patriots joint practices will take place in New England this year, assuming they officially materialize first.

The Steelers are another common preseason opponent given their proximity. The third preseason game is typically the most significant one because the starters typically play at least the first half and into the third quarter.

Ah, the annual scrubfest tradition with the New York Jets. Per Reuben Frank, this will be 14th consecutive year the Eagles finish preseason versus the Jets. The two teams have played in 28 of last 29 preseasons [and twice in 1992].

Now is as good a time as ever to bring up the Eagles' 2014 regular season opponents. The full NFL schedule won't be out for a couple weeks, but here is reminder as to who and where the Eagles will be playing this upcoming season.
