ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. recently released his updated list of the Top 100 prospects in the 2014 NFL Draft (In$ider required). Unlike a traditional mock draft, Kiper is not matching the players up to specific teams. He's simply ranking their draft value.
Coincidentally, however, UCLA outside linebacker Anthony Barr is the player who Kiper ranked at No. 22 overall. That just so happens to be when the Eagles are scheduled to make their first pick. Barr continues to be quite the polarizing prospect.
Other potential defensive targets for the Eagles worth mentioning: safeties Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and Calvin Pryor rank 19 and 21 respectively. Cornerbacks Kyle Fuller and Bradley Roby are 39 and 40. Pass rushers Dee Ford (45) and Jeremiah Attaochu (53) seem like could make more sense for the Eagles in the second round.
Kiper also has 18 wide receivers ranked in his top 100. The Eagles have shown interest in a number of the following pass catchers. Here's how Kiper ranked them. For explanations on each prospect read the entire article.
