According to a draft diary post from 2014 NFL draft prospect Kevin Norwood himself (via Tom Pelissero of USA Today Sports), the Alabama wide receiver already met with the Philadelphia Eagles for a pre-draft visit. Norwood also noted the Eagles have shown "strong interest" in him. CBS Sports projects Norwood to be a 4th round pick.
The 24-year-old Alabama senior measures in at 6-2, 198 lbs. Norwood finished his college career with 81 receptions for 1275 yards (15.7 average) and 12 touchdowns.
Norwood is the sixth known wide receiver who the Eagles have brought in for a pre-draft visit. The others include: Kelvin Benjamin, Marqise Lee, Odell Beckham Jr., Cody Latimer, and Mike Evans. The Eagles are allowed 30 pre-draft visits and with the news of Norwood's visit a total of 19 are now known.
Coincidentally, BGN's profile on Norwood is schedule to be released on Thursday. Here's a sneak peek of his strengths via Mike Kaye:
Norwood has solid speed and can get YAC with ease. He has big, soft hands and snatches the ball out of the air. He has the ability to make "wow" plays and will sell out for the ball. He shows great concentration and knows how to box out defenders to grab contested passes. He has terrific change of direction and can avoid tackles by dipping and dodging defenders. He is a dependable receiver that is a solid route runner.
Lastly, a look at Norwood's spider graph.
