McCoy Voices Support For DeSean - Sheil Kapadia, Birds 24/7
"It’s a surprise for sure," McCoy said when asked for his reaction. "I think anybody that tells you that they’re happy about it, I don’t know how honest that would be. It was a surprise. You heard so much, you didn’t really know. Not playing with him this year is gonna definitely be different. And playing against him is really gonna be different. I just imagine all the times we used to… knowing defensive teams are gonna try to defend us and different things like that, and now we’ve gotta defend against him, so it’s gonna be a little different.

Fan-Demonium: The Draft's Big People - Tommy Lawlor, PE.com
Chip Kelly has made it clear in his year-plus as head coach of the Eagles that he likes big players. Kelly summed up his philosophy as, "Big people beat up little people." That's about as simple and direct as you can get.

Moving Up For Mike Evans? - Tommy Lawlor, Iggles Blitz
I can see the Eagles liking Mason a lot. He’s my favorite RB in the draft. I don’t think he is the best, but I love watching him play. Mason runs so hard that you can’t help but love watching him. The Eagles don’t need a RB, but they could like Mason so much that they feel he’s worth taking anyway. If they have a high grade on him and he slides a bit (as so many RBs do), the Eagles might feel he’s too good to pass up. I do think Mason would be a great fit for Kelly’s spread running attack. Mason is a N-S runner who has terrific power and doesn’t go down on first or second contact. He likes to make one quick cut and keep his shoulders facing upfield. Enjoy these highlights.

If Eagles draft a receiver, they'll want size and speed - Jeff McLane, Inquirer
The Jackson jettison just made it more probable the Eagles will expend an early-round selection on the position. The draft has as many as a dozen receivers they could take in the first two rounds, but with so much depth, a few could drop into the middle rounds and the patient Eagles' laps. But in which of those prospects will Chip Kelly take a keen interest? At last month's owners meetings, the Eagles coach revealed the No. 1 characteristic he'll be looking for.

Jared Sherman's Eagles mock draft 1.0 - CSN Philly
When I put this mock together I still had wide receivers Brandin Cooks and Kelvin Benjamin available at No. 22. The reason I chose to go with Mosley was simply because I felt he was the best player left on the board. With DeMeco Ryans' physical skills fading, especially in coverage, the Eagles need to find his replacement. Too many times in 2013, Ryans was a step late in coverage and allowed teams to move the chains. Mosley, despite what Montana's Jordie Tripp says, is the best cover linebacker in the draft and is outstanding in almost every facet of playing the position. While he predominantly played inside at Alabama, he is athletic enough to move outside if needed. Mosley is a leader, has never been in trouble, and plays hard on every snap -- all traits that Chip Kelly covets.

Announcing the creation of the NFL Fans Association - PFT Commenter, SB Nation NFL
I. Hate. Unions. There more like ME-nions instead've YOU-nions. They literally destroyed the city of Michigan and Steven Crowderses jaw. They sent unemployment skyrocketing among US citizens ages 2-14. They tug at the fabric of are very nation and are stupid. HOWEVA (Stephen A Smith voice) this time has come to band together as NFL fans. Theres a NFL Owners union (any time a group of rich guys sitting next to each other keeping themselfs rich its technicly a Union), thers a NFLPA led by human fedora DeMaurice Smith, but us FANS are the REAL reason for football to exist in USA. Why dont WE have a seat at the table?
