Now that Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has had his turn in the monthly BGN approval ratings, head coach Chip Kelly is up. Last time we left off with Kelly is shortly after the season ended with a playoff loss to the Saints. Despite a disappointing end to the season, many were satisfied with Kelly's performance in his first year as head coach.

Since January, Kelly hasn't made too many media appearances. This differs from last offseason when Kelly was freshly hired and he was busy taking a media tour. Kelly is now settled in and doing his best to stay off the radar. That is, except when he's touring various pro days around the country.

The main areas to grade Kelly on involve: the Eagles' in-house signings, the Eagles' free agent signings, and the DeSean Jackson fallout. These topics were already touched on in the Roseman post. Kelly obviously had a lot to do with the release of one of the Eagles' best on the field talents. Jackson wouldn't have been removed from the roster if Kelly wanted him to stay. Reports indicate that Jackson's off the field behavior made him more of a headache than his talent was worth.

So, do you approve of the job Chip Kelly has done as the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles? Vote now in the poll below and leave your thoughts in the comments.
