Well, this isn't likely what the Eagles had in mind when they released wide receiver DeSean Jackson. The three-time Pro Bowl pass-catcher will visit the rival Washington Redskins on Monday, according to NBC News4's Dianna Marie Russini. Washington has just over $7 million in cap space, according to Over the Cap.
It is unclear what type of salary Jackson would receive in free agency. Washington would likely have to offer a salary well below Jackson's projected 2014 money with the Eagles. The Redskins currently have Pierre Garcon, Leonard Hankerson, Santana Moss and Andre Roberts on the roster. Robert Griffin III likes to go for the long ball every now and then, so Jackson and Garcon could be absolutely scary as a receiving duo.
Jackson signing with Washington would be very interesting, as he has served as a major antagonist to the organization for six seasons. In fact, a good portion of Jackson's highlight reel features several plays and taunts made against Washington.
