There's obviously been a lot of reaction on Twitter to DeSean Jackson's release on Friday. For the most part, none of the Eagles players themselves have had much to say. That is, except for Eagles offensive lineman Jason Kelce. Kelce, who received a contract extension this offseason, is often seen as one of the team's most level-headed and stand-up players. Here's what he had to say about Jackson's release:
We just made an extremely unpopular decision, but I couldn't be more excited and happy with where this organization is going!! #FlyEaglesFly

Good luck with whatever team you end up with DeseanJackson10!

A lot of fans probably don't want to hear things like this right now. Jackson was a fan favorite for many. It's hard to believe he's no longer a member of the Eagles. But perhaps Kelce is a voice of reason in a firestorm of emotional reaction right now.
