DeSean Jackson Says He's Talked to Chip Kelly

Shortly after a report emerged last week that the Eagles were listening to trade offers for star wide receiver DeSean Jackson, there were a series of conflicting follow-up reports regarding the communication between Jackson and the team.

Tim McManus of Birds 24/7 originally reported that the Eagles had not been in contact with Jackson since the season ended. According to McManus, Jackson was being kept in the dark. Then a report from 94WIP emerged on Wednesday stating that Chip Kelly contacted Jackson after the season to tell him he wouldn't be traded. Not too long later, it was revealed Jackson had tried to reach out to Kelly but failed to get in touch with the Eagles head coach. Then Derrick Gunn of CSN Philly reported that it was Kelly who had reached out to Jackson but hadn't received a response. So who knows what really went on.

But now a new piece of evidence in the telephone game has emerged: a cryptic Instagram post from DeSean Jackson himself.

So what does Jackson's message mean? Other than the fact that (Big) Chip Kelly and Jackson have seemingly talked now, I don't really know. I'm skeptical that this photo suddenly discredits all the rumors, reports, and speculation surrounding Jackson's status this offseason.

But for now, it's interesting. Feel free to speculate.
