According to Chris Mortensen of ESPN, the Philadelphia Eagles are expected to sign former New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez.
Sanchez "failed physical" termination w Jets was protocol. Won't affect next step - signing with Eagles. He's on good recovery from surgery

Sanchez has been throwing & is about "80 percent" recovered from his labrum surgery. Eagles will do their own medical eval before signing

The timing of this new report shortly follows another Mortensen report from Monday that the Eagles were expected to be one of the stop landing spots for Sanchez.
It's worth noting that Sanchez has not officially signed yet, but at this point, it looks expected to happen. Sanchez will have to pass a physical before a signing could become official. Sanchez is coming off a shoulder injury that caused him miss the entirety of the 2013 season.
Sanchez was just recently cut from the Jets prior to their signing of former Eagles QB Michael Vick. Sanchez will likely compete for a backup quarterback spot.
So does Chip Kelly like former USC quarterbacks (see: Matt Barkley) or what?
