There's a new development in the DeSean Jackson situation. This time, it's from Birds 24/7 reporter Tim McManus.
Just spoke with two sources close to DeSean. Receiver now believes he will not be back.
— Tim McManus (@Tim_McManus) March 21, 2014
"The feeling within the DeSean Jackson camp right now is that he will not be back," McManus explained on Philadelphia sports radio station 97.5 The Fanatic. "It's a matter of when, not if."
The Jackson trade speculation emerged early in March, but didn't pick up significant steam until recently. A report from earlier this week claimed that the Eagles are willing to listen to offers for Jackson. Since then, multiple teams have been rumored to be interested in trading for Jackson, including the Patriots, 49ers, Panthers, Jets, and Raiders. It's been reported that the Eagles specifically reached out to Carolina in order to gauge their interest in the 27-year old receiver.
The Jaccpocalypse is nigh.
More details to come.
