DeSean Jackson Trade Rumor: Eagles Are Listening to Offers

Derrick Gunn reports the Eagles are listening to offers for DeSean Jackson.

Ed Szczepanski-USA TODAY Sports

DeSean Jackson is available for a trade, according to Derrick Gunn of Comcast SportsNet Philly. Gunn reports that the the Eagles are listening to offers and that the 49ers and Patriots have inquired about Jackson. That the Eagles are asking for at least a 3rd round pick in return, according to Gunn.

Additionally, Gunn reports that the team notified Jackson of this last week:

The team has taken inquiries from the 49ers and Patriots, Gunn has learned from a league source, and notified the Pro Bowl wideout early last week that it’s not shopping him but is listening to potential suitors.

And that they listened to offers last year:

The Eagles last year took inquiries about Jackson and were initially asking for a second-round pick, the source said, but dropped their demand to a middle-round pick but were still unable to trade him.

Earlier today Brandon gave a run down of the growing list of reports that Jackson may be on his way out. Now it seems that scenario is one step closer to happening.

More details to come as they arise.
