Everyone's favorite NFL Insider, Jason La Canfora, reported early on Tuesday morning that the Eagles are interested in free agent safety T.J. Ward. But shortly after, a number of reporters denied that Eagles' interest in Ward.
Curious to see where coveted safety TJ Ward lands. Lions interested and have the $$. Dolphins, Redskins? Not Eagles, though. Not in the mix

#Eagles have not spoken to the agent for T.J. Ward, per source. Ward just doesn't fit what they need. Teams see him more as a box safety.

These reports of denial echo what Tim McManus had to say about Ward on Monday.
Eagles do not appear to be involved in the TJ Ward sweepstakes at this time.

This isn't the first time La Canfora has had an Eagles report publicly refuted this offseason. Last week, JLC reported that the Eagles had no interest in bringing Michael Vick back. Shortly after that report, Rapoport said that the Eagles are open to a Vick return as a backup.
As I've said before, this time of year is filled with gobs of misinformation. And a lot of it is meant to be intentional. But in this case, it just looks like JLC might not be on the same page as the Eagles.
