2014 NFL Mock Draft: Mocking the Draft Has the Eagles Taking Familiar Targets

Check out our 2014 Eagles mock draft central for more opinions on who could be the #22 pick in May.

SB Nation's Mocking the Draft released their latest 2014 NFL Mock Draft on Monday. This is a mock that goes three rounds deep. It's also the last mock before the official start of free agency. Post-free agency mocks will likely change quite a bit based on the Eagles' signings. Let's see who MTD has the Eagles taking this time around:

22. Philadelphia Eagles - Bradley Roby, Cornerback, Ohio State
Philadelphia’s outside cornerbacks last season were picked apart. Roby didn’t have the season many expected, but some of his bad moments were a symptom of tendencies that are coachable. Don’t forget, many considered Roby a top 15 talent coming into the season. The talent is still there.

---------

54. Philadelphia Eagles - Deone Bucannon, Safety, Washington State
After the top three safeties, there isn’t a lot of drop off with Bucannon. After him, though, it’s considerable. Bucannon is capable of dropping in coverage and has good instincts in coverage. He’s also able to deliver crushing hits that make receiver apprehensive about playing in his coverage area.

---------

86. Philadelphia Eagles - Martavis Bryant, Wide receiver, Clemson
While the Eagles brought back Riley Cooper and Jeremey Maclin, the latter is on just a one-year deal. Bryant has big-play potential. He’s the type of player who had first-round potential for 2015.

Nothing too out of the ordinary here. All of these names seem to be common targets for the Eagles in various mock drafts. Roby is a player BGN talked about several times last week, Buccanon could be one of Chip Kelly's shortlist players, and Bryant has great size at 6-5, 201 lbs.

How do you feel about these picks? Were there better options available?
