SB Nation's Mocking the Draft released their latest 2014 NFL Mock Draft on Monday. This is their last mock prior to the NFL Scouting Combine which starts on Saturday. This mock goes two rounds deep. Let's take a look at who they have the Eagles taking this time around.
22. Philadelphia Eagles - Marqise Lee, WR, Southern California
If Jeremy Maclin leaves in free agency, the Eagles will need to find a receiver early in the draft. Marqise Lee wasn't great in 2013, but he battled injuries and still flashed playmaking ability, on deep routes and after the catch. He's worth a late first-round pick.
This isn't the first time the Eagles have been mocked a wide receiver. In recent weeks, LSU receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has been a popular name mocked to the Eagles.
Marqise Lee is a 22 year old junior from the University of Southern California. He definitely has talent and Eagles coach Chip Kelly is familiar with him from his days at Oregon. Lee stands at 6-0, 195 lbs and has experience playing with now-Eagles-backup-QB Matt Barkley. Mel Kiper has Lee as the second highest receiver on his board only behind Sammy Watkins.

Lee is coming off a down season compared to his first two years at school. Lee's junior campaign suffered with injury struggles and inconsistent QB play, but Lee was to blame for some of his struggles as well. His 12.31% drop rate was among the worst out of college football receivers. One area where Lee excels is getting yards after the catch; he averaged 7.6 YAC per reception in 2013. As I wrote last week, the Eagles won't be shy to add more talent at receiver.
In the second round, the MTD has the Eagles going defense.
54. Philadelphia Eagles - Kyle Van Noy, OLB, BYU
Kyle Van Noy is a player who could play multiple positions across different schemes. The Eagles could certainly use some help on the edge, and while Van Noy has the ability to get after the passer, he can also be relied upon in coverage. He's too good a value to pass up here.
Van Noy is senior outside linebacker who stands at 6-3, 245 lbs. Adding Van Noy would be clear evidence of Andy Reid's BYU bias would also fill an Eagles' position of need. Kiper has Van Noy ranked as the fifth best OLB prospect on his board. Van Noy finished his four year career at BYU with a total of 26 sacks, with 17 of those coming in his last two years at school.
