On the eye test, the Eagles' offensive line last season was a lot better than the injured mess that was the Eagles 2012 OL. However, while they were tremendous in the run game, the Eagles OL did experience their share of protection issues in 2013. Before the season began, Jason Peters said that the OL wanted to give up the fewest sacks in Eagles history, which was 22, in 1981. In 2013, including the playoffs, the Eagles allowed 48 sacks, or 27 more than Peters' preseason goals. Over the next few days, we'll chart all 48 of them, to better determine went wrong on their breakdowns. After we've charted all the sacks, we'll provide more comprehensive analysis, but for now, let's just look at each sack individually, starting with the Eagles' first 4 games, when they went 1-3.

Nick Foles should be the starting QB for the foreseeable future, but the backup situation is a bit of a mystery. The Eagles have Matt Barkley and GJ Kinne on the roster right now. Barkley wants to be the backup (or more). Kinne would love to make the roster as the No. 3 QB. Even that might be a longshot for him.

Speaking to Derrick Gunn of Comcast Sports Net, Eagles' general manager Howie Roseman did not rule out the possibility of taking a quarterback in the first round of the upcoming NFL draft. "We handle it the same way we handle any other position," Roseman said on taking a quarterback in the first round. "If we have a significant gap on who the best player on the board is and the next best player, it's really not going to matter the best position."

5. Who will be the next Chip Kelly?
Kelly brought his innovative ideas and up-tempo offense to the pros and led the Philadelphia Eagles to the NFC East title, a remarkable turnaround after a 4-12 season in 2012. San Diego's Mike McCoy was another first-year coach who led his team to the playoffs. Of the seven new coaches, four are rookies: Washington's Jay Gruden, Minnesota's Mike Zimmer, Cleveland's Mike Pettine and Houston's Bill O'Brien. Gruden may have the best shot to go worst-to-first if Robert Griffin III regains his rookie form.
