On Wednesday, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly firmly shut down the rumors about the Florida Gators having interest in him for their head coaching vacancy. Kelly said he laughs at those silly rumors.
On Thursday, Kelly was asked about the Florida job again. This time it was Kelly who got silly:
Chip Kelly again on why he wasn't interested in the Florida job: "I don't think our pro offense would work at the college level."

That is some masterfully self-aware trolling.
If you don't get it, the joke here is that many people were skeptical if Kelly's "college offense" would even work in the NFL. Now it's Kelly who has (jokingly) flipped the script... on himself! Hilarious.
It turns out that Kelly had some inspiration for this joke. Eagles public relations chief Derek Boyko showed Kelly the following tweet from Wednesday:
Chip Kelly's NFL offense will never work in college

Never a dull moment with Chip around.
