Year 2 - Iggles Blitz
Championship teams are not built overnight. We sometimes forget that. We see a team win the Super Bowl and focus on that particular season. We rarely take the time to think about all that went into building that team. The draft picks and trades. The free agent additions and losses. The uplifting wins and crushing losses. That’s all part of the process. I wrote about the fact that we’re just in Year 2 with Chip Kelly. The Eagles are headed in the right direction but more time is needed for Kelly to get this team where he wants it.

Wulf's Den: What Went Right Or Wrong? - PE.com
With the Eagles officially eliminated from playoff contention, two days away from wrapping an anticlimactic bow on the 2014 season, it is time for reflection. What happened that allowed a 9-3 team, tied for the best record in the league, to drop three straight games and fall into playoff irrelevance before the final week of the season? What's next for the roster? Who exceeded expectations and who fell below their predicted level of play?

Big changes coming to Eagles secondary - Inquirer
The Eagles could opt to move on from both their outside cornerbacks as they did two offseasons ago when Nnamdi Asomugha and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie weren't brought back. But rather than start over as they did with Fletcher and Williams, the Eagles could look in-house for replacements.

Three And Out: Eagles-Giants Predictions - Birds 24/7
The last time we covered a finale at MetLife Stadium was the first year of Birds 24/7. McManus and I made the drive back from North Jersey discussing what the future might hold for this franchise. When would Andy Reid be fired? Who would the Eagles target as the next head coach? What about the quarterback situation? The questions are obviously different this time around, but there are several questions. Teams could go after Tom Gamble as a GM candidate as soon as next week. Chip Kelly and the front office have all kinds of decisions to make on scheme and personnel. The Eagles can't afford to make mistakes during free agency and the draft.

Let's talk about talent: Are the Eagles better than two years ago? - Daily News
Let's talk about personnel. Specifically, how much better is the Eagles' roster now than it was two years ago, when the Howie Roseman/Chip Kelly regime began shaping their depth chart in their own image. Scheme wise, the Eagles seem to be in a much better place than they were in the last days of the Andy Reid/Juan Castillo/Joe Banner era. But as they showed against the Saints in the postseason last year and against the Cowboys, Seahawks and Redskins down the stretch this year, scheme can only take you so far. Neither the offense nor the defense has proven itself capable of matching up with elite units on the opposite side of the ball. Kelly's offense struggled mightily against the three best defenses it faced this season (Arizona, San Fran, Seattle), while Bill Davis' defense was shredded by the best offense it faced (Green Bay).

2014 NFL Draft Do-Over: Who would Eagles take if they could do it all again? - NJ.com
The draft class might very well pan out down the road, but as the Eagles head home for the playoffs, they certainly could have used some help from their rookies this season, considering the injuries they suffered at key positions. As the season comes to an end, here is a look at who the Eagles should have taken in the 2014 draft.

Boykin doesn't care about situational corner label - CSN Philly
If Boykin is the Eagles' best corner, as his six interceptions in 2013 showed, why wasn't he at least given the opportunity to match up with the opposing teams' starting receiver outside? What is or was the worst that could have happened? It's been a bother to Eagles fans. Is it something Boykin, too, thinks about?
