More on Chip and the 3-Game Dip - Iggles Blitz
I said earlier that I still fully believe in Chip Kelly. Let’s take a minute to discuss that. First, it doesn’t mean I blindly agree with everything he does or says. That would be utterly ridiculous. It also doesn’t mean that Chip is perfect. That also would be ridiculous. The man is a darn good football coach, but he’s going to make some bad decisions. Paul Brown did. Bill Walsh did. The Hoodie still makes some head scratchers from time to time.

The Eagles QB Situation - EaglesRewind
Now let’s look at Nick Foles.  The big question here isn’t "is Foles the answer?", there’s no way to answer that right now.  The question is "is he definitely/probably NOT the answer?"  That’s the question that many are jumping too quickly to answer.  As you’ll hopefully see, there’s no reason to jump off the Foles bandwagon yet.

Zone Read: Eagles-Washington, the Day After - Birds 24/7
At this point, we know what the Eagles are. They turn the ball over too much. The run game is inconsistent. With Sanchez at QB, they can't get the ball downfield. Defensively, they can stop the run, but have glaring weaknesses in the secondary and give up too many big plays. Special teams has been great for much of the season, but put it all together, and this team is pretty much exactly where it deserves to be.

Eagles' self-inflicted wounds led to playoff elimination - Inquirer
The Eagles are officially eliminated from postseason contention, and Saturday night's 27-24 loss to the Washington Redskins offered a prime example why. It was not the first time coach Chip Kelly needed to address turnovers and penalties after a game. In each defeat during the Eagles' three-game December losing streak, those self-inflicted wounds have plagued the Eagles. If they happen once or twice, they can be cast as fixable mistakes. But they have become a trend. The Eagles lead the NFL in turnovers. They entered Saturday's loss in the top half of the league in penalty yards and were penalized for 102 yards against Washington. Those are the signs of an undisciplined team.

Al Boykin to Eagles: Stop disrespecting Brandon - The 700 Level
Brandon Boykin remains stuck in the slot, and his brother doesn't like it. In the fourth quarter of Saturday's shocking loss to Washington, the Eagles finally made a change at cornerback (this has been an issue for a while). Bradley Fletcher, victimized in recent weeks by Jordy Nelson and Dez Bryant, was about to finish off yet another rough outing. This time, he was twice beaten badly by DeSean Jackson, who recorded two more 50-plus-yard catches.

Zach Ertz sets Eagles record but would trade it for a win - CSN Philly
"I would take one catch — zero catches even — and not play for a win," Ertz said after the team’s 27-24 loss at FedEx Field, a defeat that could end up keeping the Eagles from making the playoffs.
