Here's a guide for what Eagles fans should be rooting for.
Note that these games are relatively minor in comparison to the outcome of the Eagles-Cowboys game. Still, it should help you pick a rooting interest if you have none otherwise.
What to root for and why:
Green Bay Packers at Buffalo Bills - Root for the Bills. Philadelphia's chances at earning a bye aren't very likely at all (10.8%) but a Buffalo win would increase them by 3.2%.
Washington Redskins at New York Giants - Root against Washington. The WASTEAM is already a lost cause so they might as well lose anyway. Meanwhile, another win for the Giants could convince New York to delay their much-needed rebuild for another year. Eagles fans likely won't be upset to see Tom Coughlin and Eli Manning to stick around. A Giants win would put the team at 5-9 and ruin their draft position a little more.
Houston Texans at Indianapolis - Root for the Texans. Why does this AFC battle matter, you ask? Because if the Colts win this game, they'll clinch the AFC South. If the Eagles lose to the Cowboys, Philly will need Indy to beat Dallas in Week 16. The Colts will still have seeding to play for in Week 16, so they won't rest their starters, but they'll be more desperate to win in Dallas if they lose this week.
(LATE) Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions - Root for the Vikings. The Lions losing is good insurance for the Eagles if they lose to the Cowboys and end up aiming for the wild card. A Minnesota win raises the Eagles' playoff chances by 5.1%.
(LATE) San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks - Root for the 49ers. A San Francisco win raises the Eagles playoff chances by 1.6%. It also increases Philadelphia's odds of a first round bye by 8.8%.
