Missing DeMeco? - Iggles Blitz
Still, this does make you wonder about the future at ILB. DeMeco is a good player and I’m not trying to diminish that. But he’s older, expensive and coming off an injury. You have to wonder if the organization will look at this situation and feel they could move on to another option that is cheaper/younger.

Inside Voices: ‘We’re the Nobodies’ - Birds 24/7
There’s "V-Doc" (Vinny Curry) and "Fletch" (Fletcher Cox) and "Swamp" (Cedric Thornton, given to him by Jim Washburn who thought he was built like the Swamp Thing). Then there’s "Wado" (Wade Keliikipi) and "B-Bair" (Brandon Bair) and "T-Hart" (Taylor Hart). Those are some of the nicknames you might hear bouncing off the walls inside the defensive line room. There is also a nickname for the group that the players have embraced in recent weeks. "We’re ‘The Nobodies,’" said Cox. "That’s us."

Eagle Eye: How The Eagles Contained Bryant - PE.com
If you think preparing for the Dallas Cowboys on the field is tough to do twice in a three-week span, try thinking of original things to write about them. I’m being a bit facetious of course, but I didn’t really want to break down a lot of the same schemes that we just looked at two weeks ago. I analyzed at the Cowboys’ stretch run game, the way they attack defenses with multiple personnel groupings, as well as a look at their Tampa-2 coverage on the back end as well in my Cowboys preview leading up to the Thanksgiving game in Week 13. I would expect to see more of the same in all three of those respects this Sunday night.

Should the Eagles take a shot at Mariota? - Inquirer
Chip Kelly's public admiration for Marcus Mariota doesn't necessarily mean the Eagles coach thinks the Oregon star is an NFL franchise quarterback, let alone one whom he would be willing to mortgage the future on by trading up in the draft. But Kelly's effusive praise and the Eagles' continued uncertainty at the position make the prospect an intriguing one, even if the odds of it happening are slim. What would it take to get Mariota?

Can McCoy carry the Eagles to the playoffs? - Daily News
I’ll start with the conclusion: LeSean McCoy and the Eagles’ running game are going to have to beat the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night or the Eagles aren’t going to beat them. The game on Thansgiving at Jerryworld seems like a long time ago, especially after the Seattle game. You remember the Seattle game, where the forces transpired to make it a contest between Seatlle quarterback Russell Wilson and Eagles quarterback Mark Sanchez. In that battle, you would pick Wilson eight or nine times out of 10, and that’s how it played out at Lincoln Financial Field.

Breaking down Eagles playoff scenarios ahead of Dallas - The 700 Level
First place may be on the line, but the division title is not when the Philadelphia Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday night, even though the outcome could go a long way to crowning a champion. Both clubs enter this pivotal NFC East matchup with 9-4 records, so obviously the winner will have a leg up in the standings. However, either team would then have to take care of business during the final two weeks of the regular season to clinch the division—and the playoff berth that comes with it.

ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. says Eagles' 1st round pick Marcus Smith could have gone in 3rd or 4th round - NJ.com
"I didn't think he was a first-round pick," Kiper said on Thursday. "I thought he was more of a third, third/fourth round pick."

Kendricks: My brother, Butkus award winner, 'the real deal' - CSN Philly
Mychal Kendricks’ little brother, Eric Kendricks, was named the NCAA’s top linebacker on Tuesday. Eric, a UCLA star, won the Butkus Award named after former NFL star linebacker Dick Butkus. Mychal, a third-year linebacker drafted high in the second round, is an emerging star on the Eagles’ defense. But his little brother, he said, is ahead of him on the learning curve.

The quest for a 4-12 playoff team - SB Nation
The NFC South is horrible. It could be worse, and it will be worse. Let's blow it to Hell.
