The New York Football Giants are awful. They're really, really terrible. How bad are they? They just lost to the 1-10 Jacksonville Jaguars by a final score of 25-24... after being up 21-0. The Giants are now 3-9 in 2014. It's the seventh straight loss for the G-Men.
It seems forever ago that the Giants were 3-2 and considered to be red hot. New York strung a three-game winning streak together where they averaged 35 points per game and only allowed 17 points per game. The G-Men were very confident heading into their Week 6 game against the Eagles in Philadelphia. They talked a lot of trash that week and even stomped on the Eagles' center field logo prior to the game.
The Giants' swagger was short-lived. The Eagles dominated New York in a 27-0 victory, and now the Giants have been without a win ever since. Looking back, Philadelphia ended the Giants' 2014 season on that very night.
Even further, the Eagles may have ended the current Giants regime. New York is headed for another bad finish after going 7-9 in 2013. The Eagles and Giants play again this season in Week 17. Will that be the last game of the Eli Manning and Tom Coughlin era?
