Eagles Week 13 Snap Counts: Casey Mattthews steps up with Emmanuel Acho down

Here's a look at how often each player saw the field in the Eagles' victory over the Dallas Cowboys.

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

These are the player snap counts from the Philadelphia Eagles' 33-10 victory over the Dallas Cowboys (Recap).

The following players were inactive and did not play: Roc Carmichael, Jaylen Watkins, Nick Foles, Jeff Maehl, Taylor Hart, Dennis Kelly, Julian Vandervelde.

The following players were active but did not play: Matt Barkley, David Molk, Emmanuel Acho.

OFFENSE

Notes:

Riley Cooper only played three less snaps than Jeremy Maclin. The Eagles should still look to lessen that count for the struggling Cooper.

Zach Ertz continues to see the field in only a limited role on offense, but has made special teams contributions. Veteran tight end James Casey ate into Ertz's offensive snaps in this game.

Brad Smith's 21% offensive snaps played marks a season-high for him.

Chris Polk took over for LeSean McCoy in garbage time.

DEFENSE

Notes:

Casey Matthews was forced to play a little more often than he usually has been playing due to Emmanuel Acho's groin injury. The Eagles kept Acho active in case of emergency but they didn't end up playing him. Matthews held his own during his playing time. The Eagles will be able to go back to the Matthews/Acho 50-50 split when the latter recovers from injury.

Nickel cornerback Brandon Boykin and dime cornerback Nolan Carroll II saw a lot of playing time due to the Cowboys splitting out multiple wide receivers.

SPECIAL TEAMS

Notes:

Rookie first round pick Marcus Smith II played a very few snaps on special teams, which is something he hasn't done often recently.
