Nick Foles Injury Update: Eagles quarterback to have CT scan

Another quick update on Nick Foles' injury situation.

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

According to Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News, Eagles quarterback Nick Foles is scheduled to undergo a CT scan tomorrow on Friday, November 28. Foles suffered a fractured collarbone in early November during the team's Week 9 game against the Houston Texans and hasn't been evaluated since.

This report should not come as a surprise. Eagles head coach Chip Kelly noted that Foles was scheduled to be evaluated this week.

A report on Wednesday from the Philadelphia Inquirer indicated that Foles could be out longer than the original six-to-eight week recovery time-frame suggested. The issue with Foles' injury is that it needs to be fully healed before he plays or else another hit to the collarbone could send him back to the sideline.

Expect another update on Foles injury situation soon. In the meantime, expect Mark Sanchez to continue to start at quarterback.
