Inside Voices: Kelly And the Balance Of Power - Birds 24/7
There have been persistent rumblings about shifting dynamics behind the scenes: Namely, that Kelly and Roseman’s relationship has cooled and that the collaborative process between coach and general manager is not where it once was (Kelly and Gamble remain tight, per sources).

Long Term QB Talk - Iggles Blitz
Mark Sanchez will start the game for the Eagles on Sunday when the team hosts the Titans, but the question of who is the Eagles long term QB remains somewhat open. I wrote a piece on the subject for BGN. One idea I touched on is whether RG3 could be available in the future. His career has been a disaster since the end of the 2012 season. RG3 catches a ton of flak for how he’s handled things on and off the field, but I think he still has the potential to be a very good NFL QB. I don’t know if that will happen in DC. Mike Shanahan had an awkward relationship with RG3 and now that same situation is happening with Jay Gruden. RG3 might need a change of scenery. What could Chip Kelly do with RG3?

Kellystrator: Week 12 -
This week on Eagles Game Plan, head coach Chip Kelly drops in to talk about the teaching points they found after watching the tape against Green Bay, including a great play to Jordan Matthews, a case of mental toughness in the secondary, and another standout special teams play ...

Eagles' Marcus Smith may never be ready for NFL - Inquirer
Marcus Smith is not Watkins in many ways. The Eagles' No. 1 pick doesn't appear to have any interests outside of wanting to be a great linebacker. He's played football since he was a lad. He's handled the pressure of being a top pick with grace. But there is an ominous feeling coming from the NovaCare Complex that the Eagles already know what Reid knew after watching Watkins block the wrong guy for a couple of practices. Smith, who has played only 54 snaps in 10 games, may never be ready.

Eagles guard Gardner building case to start - Inquirer
The Eagles liked that Gardner had worked mostly in a zone-blocking scheme in Houston. They liked his athleticism. But they valued his versatility, as well, knowing the importance of having active linemen on game days that can swing from tackle to guard and left to right.

Eagles determined to return run game to 2013 levels - CSN Philly
Nobody ran the football last year the way the Eagles ran the football. They led the NFL at 160 yards per game and at 5.1 yards per carry, their best production on the ground since 1950. This year, the numbers have dropped. Plunged.

Top NFL coaching candidates - ESPN In$ider
9. Pat Shurmur, OC, Philadelphia Eagles - Because of the interest in Eagles head coach Chip Kelly and the team's rapid improvement over the last two seasons, Shurmur figures to draw interest in regard to head coach openings. The veteran offensive coach, who's known in league circles for his ability to teach and develop quarterbacks, had a short stint as head coach of the Cleveland Browns (2011-2012), and some execs say he didn't have a fair shot during his time there. Shurmur could get another shot as soon as January.

Jesus is a Raiders Fan - SB Nation
Facing an 0-11 start, the Raiders needed a little divine intervention. Fortunately they had an ace in the hole.
